We've answered what cool things you should do at this year's Fall Experiment, and we've answered who will serve as the event's headlining act. (Spoiler alert: Cake will be involved.) But what about answering the most important question: What exactly IS Fall Experiment?
The short answer: FallX is a two-day festival – hosted this year on Oct. 4-5 at the Wisconsin Center – dedicated to the Venn diagram of technology, gaming, art and music, and all the ways they overlap and intertwine. That includes gaming competitions, concerts, special speakers, entrepreneur pitch competitions, cutting-edge technology and much more.
The long answer? Well, we'll let the folks from the Experience Milwaukee podcast take it from there, as host Steve Glynn recently sat down with several members of the Fall Experiment team to learn more about the event, how it all came together, and all of its fascinating pathways and possibilities.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
