Snuggle up with some holiday cheer as OnMilwaukee shares stories of everything merry and bright in the spirit of the season.
The OnMilwaukee Ho Ho Holiday Guide is brought to you by Educators Credit Union, Harley-Davidson Museum and MolsonCoors.
Buddy the Elf said it best: “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”
And indeed Buddy’s Sports Grill at Mulligan’s Golf & Driving Range, found at 6633 Douglas Ave. in Racine, is practically singing loud and proud that they have an "Elf" pop-up, open seven days a week for lunch and dinner through the end of December.
Whether you are naughty or nice, Buddy’s believes that there’s room for everyone on the Nice List! Order a drink or two from Santa’s Nice List drink menu that features six festive drinks – and some that can be ordered non-alcoholic, too, for those really on the nice list.
Are you feeling hungry? Dig into a delicious Yule log burger, a half-pound all-beef burger topped with a pecan-crusted bacon cheddar cheese log and candied bacon in between a brioche bun. And I hope you made room for dessert! Feast on all four of the main food groups – candy, cane canes, candy corns and syrup – with the Elf Spaghetti! Yes, Buddy's actually made Buddy's signature dish from the film, featuring spaghetti noodles topped with maple syrup, M&M’s, marshmallows, chocolate, pop-tarts, candy canes, chocolate syrup and candied popcorn, all on one plate.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Look forward to an etch sketch and ugly sweater contest with prizes all month long, Buddy the Elf meet-and-greets, a Christmas cookie pop-up on Saturday, Dec. 16, and more – all hosted in a festively colorful space hit with a blissful blizzard of paper snowflakes and holiday decorations.
