Pop fans should definitely be levitating in Milwaukee today as Dua Lipa announced she's coming to Fiserv Forum for a stop on her "Future Nostalgia" tour. And best of all, the concert's hitting the stage on Wednesday, Feb. 23 – less than a month from today's announcement.
The show marks the "Break My Heart" and "New Rules" singer's first Milwaukee show. The pop star was supposed to make her Brew City debut opening for Logic at The Rave as a part of KISSMas Bash in 2017, but the show was cancelled due to the rapper getting sick.
The show marks a big get for Fiserv Forum as Lipa's exploded into one of music's biggest pop stars over the past five years, starting in 2017 with the release of her debut album and breakout hits like "New Rules" and "IDGAF." She'd go on to win two Grammys at the 2019 awards ceremony, including Best New Artist, before releasing her mammoth follow-up album "Future Nostalgia" the following year. With its addictive disco-influenced retro dance groove, "Future Nostalgia" spawned eight singles thus far – including major hits like "Don't Start Now," "Physical," "Break My Heart," "Levitating" and "Love Again" – and earned six Grammy nominations at last year's awards show, including Album of the Year as well as Record and Song of the Year for "Don't Start Now."
