Josh Elliott, a co-anchor on ABC's "Good Morning America," will host the first annual Donald Driver's Driven to Achieve Awards presented by BMO Harris Bank on March 29 at The Pfister Hotel.

The Donald Driver Foundation made the host announcement this week.

"Josh is the perfect host for this event," Driver said in a release.

"I have known Josh since my rookie year and consider him to be a true friend. He shares my passion for giving back to the community and his combination of tremendous character and incredible charisma made him our first choice for the event. We are blessed to have him on board."

Founded in 2001 by Donald and Betina Driver, the Donald Driver Foundation serves as a hand up, not a hand out, for underprivileged children and families. With core focus on education, homelessness, career development and health and wellness, the work of the Donald Driver Foundation touches thousands of lives each year, the release said.

"I very much look forward to hosting the first annual Driven to Achieve Awards," Elliott said. "I was delighted that my good friend, Donald, asked me to help recognize those who do so much for communities across the United States."

Donald Driver’s Driven to Achieve Awards presented by BMO Harris Bank was created by Green Bay Packers receiver, "Dancing with the Stars" champion, and 2013 AMVETS Humanitarian of the Year Donald Driver, to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of multiple charities, companies, community leaders and celebrities that are making a difference on a national and local level.

Sponsor tables for the awards are available through Lammi Sports Management at (414) 727-3600 or Pat Mueller of P.M. Mueller & Associates at (262) 796-1005 or by email at patmueller@att.net.
