In this episode of "Dandelions: A Podcast for Women," Julie comes clean about her obsession about a squirrel in her backyard. OK, maybe obsession is too strong of a word, but she installed a picnic table for it (well, she asked her husband to do it), she's written letters to the squirrel, tried to turn him/her onto '80s music and more.
But the weirdest part, believe it or not, is that Julie's neighbors and friends worldwide have joined in and bestowed gifts upon the squirrel (who is named Sly) and willingly become a part of this fictitious Squirrel Nation.
We don't mean to pop-psychologize anyone, but we're good at it so actually we are going to pop-psychologize everyone and say we all need silliness, lightheartedness and fun right now. Even if that comes in the form of squirrel underpants.
