Shalem Healing, an integrative holistic healthcare practice, will host two COVID-19 testing opportunities.

Shalem Healing is located at 800 E. Locust St. in Riverwest. Testing is open to anyone with or without symptoms, current patient or not. If a person has insurance, they should bring their insurance card; otherwise, if paying out-of-pocket, the cost is $95 for the COVID test and $51 for the antibodies test.

The first testing event is open to the public on Tuesday, May 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. The tests will be administered outdoors, so drive-up or walk-up to the northeast corner of Locust and Fratney Streets on Fratney Street, next to the Shalem Healing building.

The second testing event is for residents of the Harambee Neighborhood only and will take place on Thursday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bader Philanthropies parking lot, 3300 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.

Tests are for the COVID-19 virus and IgG / IgM antibodies. The COVID test results take 24-48 hours to receive; the antibodies tests are finger pricks and provide immediate results.
