In another great example of a beer brewed for a good cause, Milwaukee’s Component Brewing has teamed with New Berlin Recreation to create, Recreation(ale), a sessionable IPA to benefit the Waukesha County city’s new Activity and Recreation Center.
The limited release brew, with 4.8 percent ABV, is brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Cryo Pop hops. Four-pack cans will be available during the New Berlin Beer Gardens, which launch on July 23, from 3 until 8 p.m. at Malone Park.
A dollar from each can sold benefits the new center, which is expected to open in 2022 at 15321 W. National Ave. Component may also sell cans of the beer in its Bay View taproom at the Lincoln Warehouse.
Here is the complete schedule for the beer gardens, where you can purchase the new ale on tap.
