Summerfest officials announced Tuesday that Eric Clapton will play the Marcus Amphitheater on June 28.
The 7:30 p.m. show will include special guest, Roger Daltrey.
Clapton has won 18 Grammy awards and is the only triple-inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, earning honors with The Yardbirds, Cream and as a solo artist.
Daltrey, of course, is the singer of British band The Who, which most recently played the Super Bowl halftime show.
Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, April 10 at noon. They will be available at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster sales outlets, online or by phone at (800) 745-3000 (live agents) or (800) 448-7849 (automated express line).
Clapton is the sixth Marcus Amphitheater headliner to be announced for Summerfest 2010, which runs from June 24-July 4 at the Maier Festival Park.
