This weekend, Cirque Italia – a traveling Italian water circus – will splash down at Milwaukee's Italian Community Center for a collection of shows running Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7.

In its three years of existence, the show has presented a mix of traditional Italian circus acts and modern technology and showmanship, featuring a collection of clowns, acrobats, a mermaid, a Laserman light show and more – all performing on custom designed 35,000-gallon water stage with rain and fountains highlighting each move under the tent.

The first shows begin Friday at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., with four more shows Saturday – at 11:30 a.m., 2:30, 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. – and three final shows on Sunday at 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The on-site box office is open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Adult admission ranges from $20 to $50, and if you purchase an adult full-price ticket, you also receive one free children's admission ticket (ages 2 to 12).
