There's been an country music-shaped hole in the new Bucks arena's inaugural bunch of bookings, but today that blind spot's been filled as the still nameless Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center announced that singer Chris Young – alongside special guests Dan + Shay, Morgan Evans and Dee Jay Silver – will serve as the venue's first country concert on Friday, Oct. 28.
The stop is a part of Young's "Losing Sleep" 2018 world tour, in support of his 2017 album of the same name.
After getting his start on the music reality competition "Nashville Star," winning the contest in 2006, Young began to take over country music with hit singles like "Voices," "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)" and "Tomorrow." Now seven albums into his career, Young's scored 10 number one singles as well as two Grammy nominations – one in 2010 for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for "Gettin' You Home" and another last year for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Think Of You" with Cassadee Pope.
Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday, June 28 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster. There will also be a pre-sale for American Express card members in select markets from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26 through 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, as well as a limited number of exclusive VIP packages going on sale Thursday, June 21 at 10 a.m.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
