Get your blankets and picnic baskets ready: Chill on the Hill is gearing up for the Great Milwaukee Summer, revealing its schedule and lineup of music acts for 2022.

Hosted on Tuesday nights throughout the summer in Humboldt Park, the beloved Bay View live free music series brings in an impressive lineup of local music acts to its bandshell, ranging as usual across all sorts of genres – from rock to R&B, local staples to up-and-comers. A plethora of food trucks and beverage options also surround the neighborhood hangout, which returned to the stage last summer after having to cancel its 2020 plans due to COVID-19.

But back to that thing about impressive lineups of local music acts: Here's the slate of performers coming to Humboldt Park in 2022.

• June 21 – Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra
• June 28 – The 100th anniversary celebration of the American Legion Band

• July 12 – New Business Night with Wise Jennings and MilBillies
• July 19 – Secondhand Souls and Local Legends
• July 26 – Humboldt Hustle with Moonglow and El Sebas
• Aug. 2 – Kids & Family Night with Peshtigo and Gego y Nony
• Aug. 9 – National Book Lovers Day with Loud Library and Blind Fiction
