Get ready for another "Big Day" coming up as Fiserv Forum announced today that Chance the Rapper will bring his upcoming tour to the Downtown arena on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
His last gig in Milwaukee came at The Rave in 2015.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Chance the Rapper's debut studio album, "The Big Day," released on Friday, July 26. While it may mark his first studio work, however, the Chicago-based rapper's already risen to one of the biggest stars in the genre and across music thanks to his previous mixtapes – most notably "Acid Rap" and "Coloring Book," the latter which earned him three Grammys in 2017, including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance and Best New Artist. He's also dabbled in television and movies, including a bit role in the A24 horror comedy "Slice" and a voice role in the updated "Lion King."
Tickets for the show will go on sale at Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. at both ChanceRaps.com and Fiserv Forum's official website. There will also be a pre-sale starting today at noon through Thursday at 10 p.m. for Citi card members. For more information, visit Citi's website.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
