Yi Jianlian will play for the Milwaukee Bucks, after all.

The news came overnight that the Chinese star agreed to terms on a multi-year contract during a face-to-face meeting with Bucks' owner Sen. Herb Kohl in Hong Kong.

Yi is expected to be with the team when training camp opens on Oct. 1. He was selected sixth overall in the NBA draft this past June. His representatives previously sought a trade to a market with a larger Asian population.

The Bucks called a press conference for later this morning to discuss the signing.
