Noble Catering & Events has announced that it will open a new events venue called Brixton’s Turn next spring in an 1917 carriage house at 339 E. Stewart St., on the southern edge of the Harbor District.

If you're anything like me, you've long been intrigued by the vintage wooden doors fitted into the numerous openings on the east and north sides of this building, across the street from Santino's Little Italy.

It was designed by architect Herman Esser for use as a garage and stables for Pfister & Vogel Leather Co. in Walker's Point.

Now, Noble Catering is working with Dan Beyer Architects to transform the space into, "a modern, industrial-inspired destination for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations."

The more that 6,000-square-foot space can accommodate up to 400 guests.

According to the folks at Noble, an original carriage turntable that is no longer functional will be memorialized in a recreation of its outline utilizing original wooden blocks.

“Brixton’s Turn has been a dream long in the making,” says Kaelyn Cervero, CPCE, founder of 41Fork Hospitality, which owns Noble and also recently launched a beverage catering business. “We’re beyond excited to join the vibrant Harbor District community and open a space where history, creativity, and connection come together.

"This project is deeply personal, and we can’t wait to welcome celebrations of all kinds to this incredible space.”

There will be a large main space as well as a smaller separate area.

The same facility will also house Noble Catering & Events' main hub, with a commercial kitchen, a warehouse, a design center for clients to customize events, corporate offices and a shop selling Wisconsin and regional gifts, artisan products and curated events favors.

"This expansion allows us to be even more agile and client-focused," says Noble's Executive Director Dan Roche. "Our new hub will give us the infrastructure to bring even bolder ideas to life, execute flawlessly at scale, and deliver the fresh, fearless catering experiences that set Noble apart."

Noble – which caters events at Vault, First and Bowl, Villa Terrace, Milwaukee Public Museum and other sites – is currently accepting bookings.

"With our new kitchen and creative spaces, we're setting the stage to take our culinary storytelling even further," says 41Fork Hospitality Food & Beverage Director Adam Miller. "We’re excited to craft menus that feel deeply personal to each event—celebrating bold flavors, Wisconsin’s incredible ingredients, and unforgettable moments at every turn."
