Summerfest helped us get through the snow and think of the sunnier days this past week by kindly announcing a new list of Big Gig headliner acts for each individual grounds stage each morning.
Thankfully the snow has now stopped (*knocks on all the wood in the area code*) but Summerfest is still far from done, as this morning the festival released its lineup of musical headliners for the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard stage.

While there's some good news, here's the bad: Today marks your final chance to score some serious Summerfest savings, as U.S. Cellular 11-Day Power Passes – which includes admission for all 11 days of the festival – will be on sale for just $85 (a $231 value) and three-day passes will be just $48 (a $63 value) through the end of the day before leaping up to regular pricing. So act now, save some cash and see some awesome acts.
Oh, and also stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more Big Gig news as it arrives.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
