This morning, the Riverside Theater announced that pop/rock legend Brian Wilson, most famously of the Beach Boys, will extend the final performance run of his current "Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary World Tour" – including a new stop in Milwaukee on April 19.
Joined by special guests and former bandmates Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, Wilson's tour traveled through 99 shows, performing "Pet Sounds" in its entirety in addition to other top hits and fan favorites from across his 54-year career. The show will mark the music icon's final time playing the album in Milwaukee.
"There were so many cities on this great tour that myself, my band, Al, and Blondie just couldn’t get to playing," Wilson said, in a press release. "We’re performing more shows than ever before, and the fans keep asking for more! It’s been a real trip so far, and I’m happy that we’ll have the chance to reach so many people that weren’t able to catch our shows this year."
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show (doors open at 7 p.m.) will go on sale starting at noon on Friday, Oct. 14. Reserved seating tickets will cost $47, $62, $82 and $125. For more information on the show or tickets, visit The Pabst Theater's website.
