Brewfinity Brewing Co., which opened in 2016 in Oconomowoc, has announced that it plans to open a second location in spring 2025 at 203 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Pewaukee.
The taproom, which will also have a one-barrel brewhouse, replaces the VeloCity Bike Shop across from Lakefront Park.
“Brewfinity has been looking to add a second location for the last several years," said owner Chad Ostrom, "everything from building a new facility to buying an existing venue to renting space and doing a buildout.
"We have finally found a location we are excited about as it fits into our model and is financially feasible to pursue.”
Ostram says he plans, "to develop a strong calendar of seasonal releases, tapping into holidays and local events."
He expects to have indoor bocce, trivia nights, acoustic music and special events.
"We also wish to create a unique and memorable experience that draws both locals and tourists to our Pewaukee taproom," he said. "(Including) a range of special events, which will transform the taproom into a community hub."
In addition to beer, the new Brewfinity will serve food like brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, and other smoked meat dishes.
“When we looked at the surrounding area, we realized there was a niche in doing smoked meats, so we decided that would be our focus for the kitchen,” Ostram said.
Ostram plans to be open daily for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.
He did not share a specific opening date but noted that he plans to open in phases.
"While the ultimate plan is to create the experience all in-house, we intend to do this in a phased approach," he said. "For example, we intend to smoke the meat at our Oconomowoc location and then bring it to the taproom in Pewaukee to finish the cooking process.
"By phasing the buildout and staffing in a structured manner, we can ensure that each area of our brewery operates smoothly and effectively from day 1."
Brewfinity Brewing opened eight years ago in a brewery that had originally been called Sweet Mullets at N58W39800
Industrial Rd. in Oconomowoc.
