Get ready for Opening Day of the 2020 Brewers baseball season – take two. 

Major League Baseball announced the schedule for the upcoming COVID-shortened 60-game season on Monday night, revealing that the Milwaukee Brewers will start their truncated 2020 campaign on Friday, July 24 on the road against – who else? – the Chicago Cubs. 

After that three-game series at Wrigley Field and another three-game spat on the road against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Brewers will then play their final home opener at Miller Park (before it becomes American Family Field next season) on Friday, July 31 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Milwaukee will wrap up its last regular season home game at Miller Park on Sunday, Sept. 20, ending a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals before concluding the 2020 regular season on the road with three games against the Cincinnati Reds and a four-game series against the Cardinals.

In total, the Crew will play 10 games against each of its divisional foes – Cubs, Cardinals, Pirates and Reds – in addition to six games against the Minnesota Twins, four games each against the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers, three games on the road against the Cleveland Indians and three games at home against the Kansas City Royals.
