Granted, it's a small pool that we're talking about. Only nine men have ever been the winning quarterback in two or more Super Bowls. One of those was Bart Starr of the Packers, so that leaves eight potential opponents.
First off, the qualification is that the visits had to come after they had won at least two Super Bowls.
For that reason, John Elway and Jim Plunkett do not qualify. They won their Super Bowls after visiting Lambeau. Also, it may surprise you that Terry Bradshaw and Roger Staubach never started a regular season game at Lambeau Field. When they did face the Packers in Wisconsin, the games were at Milwaukee County Stadium.
That leaves Brady and three others.
Joe Montana started a pair of games at Lambeau after he won multiple Super Bowls. He helped the 49ers win, 23-12, on December 6, 1987 and by a 24-20 score on November 4, 1990.
Bob Griese led Miami to a 31-7 rout of the Packers at Lambeau on October 5, 1975. Griese did a lot of handing off. Both Mercury Morris and Don Nottingham rushed for over 100 yards for the Dolphins that day.
The Packers were able to beat Troy Aikman and the Cowboys, 45-17, on November 23, 1997. This was a somewhat hollow payback for all of the times the Cowboys beat the Packers at Texas Stadium earlier in the decade. The Cowboys were in decline by the time the teams met in Green Bay.
This will be Tom Brady's first start at Lambeau Field. He will be facing one of the other 24 quarterbacks to have won a Super Bowl as a starting quarterback -- Brett Favre.
