Whether you like to enjoy the chaos of a brick-and-mortar Black Friday shopping experience or prefer to stay at home and relax, there are many ways to snag some great deals this year after feasting on Thanksgiving dinner.

In fact, it seems quite a bit more effortless – and a lot safer – this year to not only enjoy Thanksgiving to its fullest but also grab your phone or laptop to get your shopping done from the comfort of your home, especially since many stores are offering their sales throughout the week online.

For all the Black Friday fanatics, here is your guide to the busiest shopping day of the year at several major shops and malls – and a reminder to be safe (and don't forget to shop small on Saturday too).

Amazon

The online giant's early Black Friday shopping event has already kicked off, but its main event is a 48-hour sale starting on Thanksgiving day. Some of the biggest deals are on Amazon devices, TVs and electronics such as headphones.

Best Buy

The Black Friday sales event at Best Buy started this week and will continue through Nov. 28. Featured deals include hundreds of dollars off of TVs, laptops and cameras. Stores will be closed on Thursday and open on Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Kohl's

You can shop the hottest deals at Kohl's online and in-store through Nov. 26. This includes great deals on small home appliances, clothing and even vacuums. Locations are closed on Thursday but open Friday from 5 a.m. until midnight.

Macy's

Macy's latest batch of Black Friday deals runs in-store and online through Nov. 27, featuring massive sales on jackets, shoes and kitchenware. They'll be closed on Thanksgiving and open from 6 a.m. until midnight on Black Friday.

Target

Hundreds of deals are live in-store and online through Saturday. This includes huge savings on video games, toys and makeup. Target will be closed on Thanksgiving and open from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Black Friday.

Walmart

Enormous deals on electronics, small kitchen appliances and clothes highlight the event running through Nov. 28 online and in-store. They will be closed on Thanksgiving and open from 5 a.m. through 11 p.m. on Black Friday.
