Rock legend Billy Idol is hitting the road once again with his “It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again!” tour, bringing fellow legends Joan Jett & the Blackhearts along for the ride. The duo announced the tour on Tuesday, and that includes a stop at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Sunday, August 31st.
The tour stop is part of a run of dates that goes from April through September, also stopping in Tinley Park, Illinois earlier in the summer. The tour includes a mixture of indoor and outdoor venues, with Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles as part of the itinerary. It will mark Idol’s first appearance in Milwaukee since 2021, while Jett has made it almost an annual tradition to play the city since 2021.
For every ticket sold to the closing performance, $5 will be donated to the American Red Cross to support wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. Idol will also personally match the donation at the tour’s conclusion.
Fans looking to score tickets early can take advantage of an exclusive presale starting Thursday, January 23rd at 9 a.m. via Ticketmaster. Subscribers to the Summerfest Insider email list will receive their presale code that morning, so be sure to check your inbox.
