The Bike-In Movie series is coming back to the Holton Street Viaduct Swing Park, 1737 N. Water St., with a new schedule and another season of fundraising. It’s technically a free event, but because of royalties, bathrooms and other fees, it does take a small amount of donations to keep the series going. So during Wisconsin Bike Week, organizers are asking for your help.
Movies are shown on the third Friday of every month between June and October and start at dusk. And thanks to the cover of the bridge, movie nights stay enjoyable in even the worst weather. It is a pleasant way to spend an evening outside.
Support can be offered in two ways, either via sponsor support (which benefits from digital engagement and social announcements) or personal donations (which gets you a Team Nerd Letterpress collectible print).
The Bike-In Movie crew is hoping to reach $800 before Friday, June 8 to hit the deadline for their first showing.
