The votes are in, and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2010. The results of this readers' poll, including an editors' pick, are available in this series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.
Service -- good or bad -- can make or break a restaurant experience.
Not all guests want to be fussed over, but there is a certain expectation of courtesy and promptness that surfaces when entering an establishment. If that expectation is not met, there's a reasonable chance the diner will write-off the restaurant for good.
Some foodies won't let a rude server keep them from their favorite filet in the city, but for others, quality service is as important as the meal it accompanies.
Yet again, OnMilwaukee.com readers found Eddie Martini's, 8612 W. Watertown Plank Rd., to have a hearty helping of both fine fare and spectacular service.
The waitstaff is professional and poised, attentive without being overbearing; that adds to an already comforting eating environment.
The OnMilwaukee.com staff loves Eddie Martini's, too, but also wanted to give a shout out to another restaurant with top-notch service and, therefore, chose Bacchus as its pick.
