Cafe Benelux
Everyone loves brunch and most people have a particular place that's their go-to favorite spot to eat it. That's certainly the case with OnMilwaukee readers, who voted Cafe Benelux the city's best brunch for the second year in a row, with the second- and third-place restaurants finishing in the same silver- and gold-medal spots as last year, too. We like what we like, Milwaukee, especially when it comes to brunch.
The Lowlands Group European-style cafe in the Third Ward offers a robust brunch menu, with the usual favorites (omelets, Benedicts, Belgian waffles), as well as sandwich-ier "blunch" options, and plenty of Bloody Marys, Brunch Biers and espresso drinks.

4. Hi Hat Garage
5. Cafe Centraal
Lori Fredrich's pick: Story Hill BKC
I’m a big fan of leisurely weekend breakfast, and a spot that never seems to fail me is Story Hill BKC. It’s largely because of their crepe monsieur, which is a magical dish that features the classic combination of smoky ham and Alpine style cheese with a twist of mustard and pickles. So good.
This year we also asked a variety of prominent Milwaukeeans to weigh in on their pick for specific categories. For this category, we consulted Toni Spott, a real estate specialist with Keller-Williams.
Spott's pick: Cafe at the Plaza
I love the retro charm and the fact that it's locally sourced with choices that go from healthy to indulgent. Everything is so yummy!
