Season's eatings! October may be over, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee, presented by the restaurants of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, is still cooking, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!
Rock it, baby! The adorably branded bakery and cafe's delectably fresh-made scents certainly lodged themselves in the noses and minds of Milwaukee readers, who voted it No. 1 this year. The beloved Wauwatosa bake house, with a Bay View satellite location, enthusiastically touts the locally sourced, sustainable ingredients in its artisan breads and pastries.
Rocket Baby recently introduced new sandwich offerings, which may have helped differentiate and distance itself from the iconic Peter Sciortino's. And sandwiches – like the Stout Beef and Croque Madame – are all well and good, but if you want to be truly happy you need only the sweet love of monkey bread.
