Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.
OnMilwaukee.com readers picked Umami Moto as their favorite Asian Fusion / Vietnamese / Korean restaurant. Umami ran away with the vote, receiving more than double the number of votes received by second place winner, Hue.
Umami Moto, a sushi and seafood Japanese restaurant, means "the source of the fifth element of taste – deliciousness" in Japanese.
The fresh ingredients, attractive presentation of the food and prompt, professional service have earned Umami Moto a five-star reputation. Add in the sleek, elegant decor, diverse clientele and the hip location on Milwaukee Street and you have a winning combination.
The OnMilwaukee.com editors picked Seoul, based on the tasty Korean lunch buffet that adds a fresh, unique lunchtime dining element to the East Side's offerings.
