Now that we know Aaron Rodgers is going to be out of action for some time, the next question is how comfortable everyone is with Seneca Wallace, and if we have doubts, what can be done about it.
The most obvious question is whether Brett Favre could come back to Green Bay.
It would be a great way to heal the rift. Ted Thompson would have to say okay. Mike McCarthy would have to agree. And Favre could apologize by answering the call when the Packers are in need.
A couple of weeks ago when there was some interest from the St. Louis Rams, Favre’s long time agent and friend, Bus Cook, said Favre was in great shape and could definitely play.
This probably isn’t going to happen, but it’s worth a discussion.
