They’re also working on an Italian pilsner that should be ready in the coming weeks. Salute!

Gathering Place, which hosts Gallery Night on Friday, has expanded its newly refreshed taproom hours, and is now open Monday and Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., Thursday and Friday, 4-10, Saturday, 2-10 and Sunday, 2-6.

Tours are available Saturdays at 3 and 3:45 p.m.

For Gallery Night this week, the taproom 811 E. Vienna Ave., hosts featured artist Sam Hanson Doodle, live music by Roxie Beane from 6:30 until 9 p.m. and Meat & Co. food pop-up.

Did I mention beer? There’s lots of that.

Hacienda Beer Co.

Hacienda brings back its Soul Memory Black Lager this weekend, with a member release on Friday and public release Saturday.

The brew, which debuted last winter, is, says Hacienda, “very roughly inspired by a Czech Dark Lager called Tmavé Pivo—a traditional dark lager that has a bit more body and is a little maltier compared to German Schwarzbier. However, like most things we do at Hacienda, our take on this style isn’t traditional at all.”

Brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Carafa, Midnight Wheat, and Chocolate malts, the color is super black, with dark chocolate, espresso, herbal spice and bread notes. A lager yeast and German Hallertau Mittefrüh and Czech Saaz hops make for a crisp, clean brew with 5 percent ABV.

You can pre-order cans now.

Next weekend, Hacienda launches False Assumptions, an 8.5 percent hazy double IPA with Citra, Strata and Belma hops.

Indeed Brewing

Indeed Brewing has shared its brand calendar for the year and there’s some interesting stuff coming.

A new DIPA arrives in March and a hard seltzer 12-pack will soon follow. Fan favorites like Pistachio Cream Ale and Flavorwave IPA will be coming in 12-packs, too.

Aquafuzz Hazy IPA arrives for May, June and July, Oktoberfest is slated for August-October and Taiga IPA is on the radar for November and December.

3 Sheeps Brewing

Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in May (stay tuned for details on that), releases Offshore West Coast-Style IPA, a new year-round with 7.5 percent ABV.

Already on draft, the beer – with Cashmere, Centennial and Simcoe hops – with pine, citrus and tropical fruit notes, arrives in 12-ounce cans at retailers in Wisconsin and Illinois the week of Feb. 7.
