The summer movie season has officially begun in cinemas – and soon at Bayshore, where the community center will once again host its Family Flicks outdoor movie series.
Hosted Wednesday nights in The Yard beginning June 14, Bayshore's Family Flicks series shows popular films for kids and kids-at-heart on its big screen overlooking the outdoor green space. Screenings begin at 5 p.m. and come accompanied by vendors and pop-ups – this year including Kilwins, Kona Ice, Bebe's Bistro and many more – surrounding the showings.
Here's the schedule for Family Flicks at Bayshore this summer:
- June 14 – "Monsters University"
- June 21 – "Vivo"
- June 28 – "Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat"
- July 5 – "Rumble"
- July 12 – "DC League of Super-Pets"
- July 19 – "Lightyear"
- July 26 – "Family Camp"
- Aug. 2 – "Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank"
- Aug. 9 – "Minions: The Rise of Gru"
- Aug. 16 – "Strange World"
- Aug. 23 – "The Super Mario Bros. Movie"
- Aug. 30 – "Sonic the Hedgehog 2"
