{image1}BAR Milwaukee, 1044 N. Old World Third St., breathed its last gasp at a Halloween night party, many patrons were surprised to find. Rumor has it that the bar has been sold to a group of as-yet unnamed West Coast investors.
The new owners are reportedly turning their attention toward the riverfront side of the business, focusing on the patio and new piers. The new club, due to arrive in spring 2005, is expected to feature live music and DJs.
BAR Milwaukee, whose theme was no theme, catered to a college crowd with beach parties, bikini contests and college student nights.
