For those who hoped having a Milwaukee-born leading man on "The Bachelor" – plus two contestants with Sconnie connections – would mean lots of Cream City shots and shoutouts this season, the first three episodes have mostly been a bust. However, that's expected to change in tonight's episode, which will bring bachelor Nick Viall back home to visit family and hit the hometown hotspots – and one of the venues featured is having a party to celebrate.
When they filmed this season, The Iron Horse Hotel was selected for a special date night locale (with who? I guess we'll find out tonight ... or just by looking on the show's official Twitter). So, in honor of its on-screen appearance, the Walker's Point hotel will host a "Little Black Dress" viewing party for tonight's episode.
The party starts at 6:30 p.m., with food and drink specials available – as well as handing out roses of its very own. The viewing will then begin at 7 p.m. And in case the name of the party wasn't a big enough clue, suggested attire is a little black dress.
So drop by, watch the latest episode, eye-roll and mutter profanities at Corinne, and see the show's stars hit some popular Milwaukee sights – and then hope Milwaukee gave itself a good scrub down afterward.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
