Leading up to the Super Bowl this past January, I read a news story of a possible chicken wing shortage. Thankfully that never came true as fans went on to eat an estimated 1.23 billion wings during Super Bowl weekend. But if there was a reason for a shortage of chicken wings, you would need to look no further than the guys from Milwaukee's own AWingThing.com.
They are a group of nine friends that have an obsession for chicken wings. As their web page states, they have made it their "mission to find the Holy Grail of wing. That perfect wing that makes you want to do cartwheels." But who has the perfect wing here in Milwaukee? I had a chance to sit down and talk with Mel, Dave and Joe of AWingThing.com to find out who serves up their favorite wings in town, who serves up the hottest wings and what to do when you accidentally drop hot sauce on your genitals.
Check out today's Kramp Cast and hear some great stories of the wing thing gang on the road reviewing wing joints in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. Enjoy!
Here's a bonus video of them as sponsors of the 2012 Milwaukee Wing Fest.
