Milwaukee blues rock outfit Altered Five inked a deal with Minneapolis-based Cold Wind Records and the quintet's new disc, "Bluesified," arrives in June. The 10-song disc is distributed nationally by Allegro Corp.

"The group has an uncanny ability to transform songs into their own distinctive sound, and the singing and playing is tremendous. I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to bring them to our label," says Cold Wind President Tim Bradach.

The band, formed six years ago, includes singer Jeff Taylor, guitarist Jeff Schroedel, keyboardist Ray Tevich, drummer Scott Schroedl and bassist Mark Solveson.
