The Second Annual OnMilwaukee Adult Spelling Bee, sponsored by Educators Credit Union, returns to The Cooperage, 822 N. Water St., on Friday, Feb. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. That's this Friday! (Note that when we say "Adult" we mean the competitive spelling slam is open to anyone 21 years or older, not that it will include profane words.)
This is also a benefit for SHARP Literacy.
We have our 20 registered spellers, but still have a few audience tickets available here.
Audience members are invited to attend to cheer (at appropriate times), drink (at all times), participate in warm-up rounds (only if you want to) and marvel at the contestants' mad spelling skills.
Sound like fun? Come hive a great night with us and support literacy!
