The Admirals have hired Ryan Costello to the new position of hockey operations coordinator. Costello, a graduate of Western New England College, will take over some duties vacated by former executive vice president / general manager Phil Wittliff. He will serve as the primary liaison regarding hockey issues with the Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League. He'll also work with local youth hockey organizations to host clinics and summer camps.

The Admirals open the 2006-'07 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 7th against the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights.
