Chef Adam Pawlak of Egg & Flour, is scheduled to show off his true cooking chops as he competes for a chance to one-up three-time James Beard honoree and Iron Chef Bobby Flay on the Food Network series "Beat Bobby Flay."
The new episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, April 11 at 9 p.m. CST. Entitled "Raise the Steaks," it promises to entertain as “Michael Symon and comedian Chris Redd leave Bobby Flay in tears while chefs Adam Pawlak and Page Pressley impress with their takes on a classic.”
The premise of the longtime show, which launched in 2013, is simple. Each half-hour episode begins with a competition between two chefs and Flay, each creating a meal using a featured ingredient chosen by Flay.
The winner goes on to compete for the ultimate win against Flay. But, strategy is key. In order to win, they must choose a dish they can execute well – and, more importantly – better than Flay himself. Three guest judges (in this case, Michele Ragussis, Lauren Scala, Michael Psilakis) determine the winner.
Will Pawlak make it to the final round? You’ll just have to watch and see.
"Raise the Steaks" will air on the Food Network April 11 at 9 p.m. CST.
