Sometimes you just have to give a middle finger to the haters, and that's exactly what singer/rapper Gerald Walker does with his song "Please, Shut The F*ck Up!"
On the new track from his upcoming mixtape "The Other Half Of Letting Go," Walker mimics those who have leveled criticisms against him and his style and then answers them similarly to how Peyton Manning told the press to stop asking Jeff Saturday and the rest of his teammates about his recovery, though Manning doesn't use the language Walker does. However, they both did say please at the very least.
Walker is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists associated with Milwaukee and though his mixtape isn't being released in collaboration with Grand Hustle, I'm still looking forward to hearing it on Sept. 20 when it drops.

Born in Milwaukee and raised in the Milwaukee suburb of Brown Deer, Concordia University Wisconsin alumnus Poppe has spent the majority of his life in or around the city and county of Milwaukee.

Though heavy on the hip-hop, Poppe writes about other genres of music and occasionally about food, culture or sports, and is always ready to show his pride in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
