Today, Milwaukee Brewers leftfielder Ryan Braun was named the National League's Most Valuable Player, garnering 20 of the 32 first place votes.
This past season, Braun hit .332 with 33 home runs, 111 RBI, 109 runs scored and 33 stolen bases. He led the NL in slugging percentage and OPS. He also led his team to a 96-66 record, an NL Central championship and a trip to the NLCS for the first time in franchise history.

Doug was a sports reporter and host at WTMJ-AM radio from 1996-2000, before taking his radio skills to national syndication at Sporting News Radio from 2000-2007. From 2007-2011, he hosted his own morning radio sports show back here in Milwaukee, before returning to the national scene at Yahoo! Sports Radio last July.
