Double down on action-packed excitement at The Temporary by American Place. The Midwest’s hottest new casino, less than an hour south of Milwaukee!
The Oscars are on approach – but before Hollywood's biggest night, we must have Hollywood's earliest wake-up as the Academy announced its nominees for the best of the past year.
"Everything Everywhere All At Once" was one of the big winners on Tuesday morning, scoring eleven nominations and earning the honor of the first Best Picture nominee featuring people with hot dog fingers. "The Banshees of Inisherin" and Netflix's "All Quiet on the Western Front" also had good days, while the indie satire "Triangle of Sadness" scored some big surprises, nabbing nominations in both Best Director and Best Picture. And yes, the blockbuster "Top Gun: Maverick" is amongst the Academy's favorites too, landing six nominations including the top prize.
There will be much to debate and discuss over the next month and a half before the little gold men get handed out on Sunday, March 12 – but for now, here are all the nominations for the 95th Academy Awards.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
