Top high school cross country runners from more than thirteen states will compete in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships (FLCCC) Midwest Regional at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha on Nov. 30 in hopes of becoming a National Finalist.

Entering its 35th year, the Foot Locker Cross Country Championship is the longest running cross country race in the nation, comprised of four regional 5K races across the country.

The top ten finishers from the regional qualify for the Foot Locker Cross Country National Finals on Dec. 14 in San Diego, Calif.

The Midwest Region, consisting of athletes from Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and U.S. citizens in Overseas Military Installations, will race along the 5,000-meter mixed terrain course at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

The race, however, will not be limited to high school athletes. All non high school runners are encouraged to participate in the open race.

10 a.m. – Freshman/Sophomore Boys Race
10:40 a.m. – Girls seeded race
11:25 a.m. – Boys seeded race
12:05 p.m. – Freshman/Sophomore Girls Race
12:45 p.m. – Junior/Senior Boys Race
1:25 p.m. – Open Race
2:15 p.m. – Awards Ceremony
